New surplus Solar Flux Type B powder welding flux in a 1 lb. can. Designed to shield the back of weld joints from oxygen, dissipate heat and unwanted oxides, and clean the metal surface. Best used for stainless steel, precipitation hardening steels, chrome-moly steels, and other alloy steels with a nickel content below 25%. Infinite shelf life in dry powder state.
